On the 3rd of November we have PBC’s 2019 AGM. This is a time where we celebrate all that Jesus has done and look ahead to what we feel he is calling us into. We come together to discern the mind of Christ, and this starts before the AGM begins. As a church, we are continually seeking to live under the reign of Christ. The AGM is a formal way of capturing what we have been discerning throughout the year. Two weeks before the AGM you will receive last year’s minutes, any elders nominations, this year’s reports and the 2020 budget overview. If you have any questions about the information you receive please meet with a pastor or elder BEFORE the AGM. You are able to nominate someone as an elder at any time of the year but they get voted in at either special meetings or AGMs. With the up-and-coming AGM, we would encourage you to pray and see if God puts anyone on your heart for eldership. If you do, please run it past the person to see if it resonates with them and if it does, put the name forward to either a pastor or elder for consideration. More information to come…
