Kia ora e te whānau,
This week has taken a bit of a turn from what was expected!  Instead of the various meetings and greetings we had organised we find ourselves back in Level 4 lockdown, creating social bubbles in our homes, albeit for 3 days.  While we had not expected this, we can be sure that God remains ever in control and that although we are not currently able to gather together, His Spirit is present working in us and binding us together as the very Body of Christ.  We will keep you updated about the Sunday gathering as more information comes to hand during the week.  In the meantime, I would encourage you to both connect with anyone you feel might be struggling at this time and not to hesitate to connect with someone if you are struggling.
Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God. (2 Corinthians 1:3-4)
