We’ve been sharing the journey with Jesus as he travels from Galilee to Jerusalem in Luke’s Gospel. Having come to Jerusalem noting the different responses to Jesus—the praising disciples, the nervous Pharisees, silent Jerusalem—we have entered Holy Week.

On Friday at 9 am we’ll gather to remember the passion of Christ. As the disciples did with Jesus, so we will eat the Lord’s Supper around tables as we hear the events of the crucifixion read from Scripture. Good Friday is a day of darkness and sorrow.

Then, after a quiet Saturday in our homes, we’ll be met on Sunday (at 10 am) by the risen Christ! As the women came to the empty tomb, so on Easter Sunday we are met with light and joy!
